What we collect,
stated plainly.
Short version: analytics on how the site is used, and the details you type in when you book a conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not buy lists.

Who is responsible
Grain of Salt LLC, Denver, Colorado. Reach us at info@scalewithgos.com for anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold about you.
What you give us directly
If you book a fit conversation, the booking widget collects your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message field. That form is operated by GoHighLevel, and the booking lands in our account there. We use it to have the conversation you asked for and to follow up about it.
If you email us, we keep the email.
What we collect automatically
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager record pages viewed, referring source, approximate location from IP, device and browser. We use it to see which pages do their job.
Microsoft Clarity records how people move through pages, including scrolling, clicks and mouse movement, and can replay a session. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into a form is not captured in a replay.
The Meta Pixel records page views and the completion of a booking, so we can tell whether an advertisement produced anything. The same events are also sent from our server through Meta's Conversions API, which is why the section below matters.
The server-side part, stated plainly
When a tracked event happens, our server sends Meta the event name, a de-duplication ID, your IP address and browser user-agent, and, if you gave them in a booking, your email address and phone number hashed with SHA-256 before they leave our server. We never send the plain values.
Hashing is not anonymisation. Meta can match a hash against an account it already has. We are telling you because the distinction matters and most policies blur it.
Campaign attribution
If you arrive from a campaign link, we store the campaign parameters from that URL in a first-party cookie called gos_attr for 90 days, along with the page you landed on. If you later book, those values travel with the booking so we know which campaign caused it.
It records the FIRST campaign that brought you, not the most recent, and it is only written when there is a campaign to record. A direct visit writes nothing.
Errors
If a page breaks, our error reporting captures the page URL, the browser, and the technical stack trace. It exists so we find out before you have to tell us.
Who else sees it
Google, Microsoft, Meta and GoHighLevel, each for the purpose described above, plus Railway which hosts the site. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Analytics: as configured in each platform, which for Google Analytics is 14 months by default. The attribution cookie: 90 days. Contact and booking records: for as long as we might reasonably do business together, and we will delete them sooner if you ask.
Your choices
Email info@scalewithgos.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you are in California, that includes the rights the CCPA gives you, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.
You can block all of the above with browser settings or an ad blocker, and the site will still work. See the cookie page for the specifics.
Children
This is a site for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Small only in name.
Tell us what you're building. We'll see what's already there, then strengthen what matters and carry it forward with clarity.
